Stop Motion Animation
Stop motion (or frame-by-frame) animation is a general term used for an animation technique which makes a physically manipulated object appear to move. The object is moved by extremely small amounts between individually
photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames are played as a continuous sequence. With teacher guidance, students choose the materials and methods they will use to create their
movie.
Students use digital cameras, tripods, and computers to create their own stop motion movie complete with music, title, and credits.
